I don't know what they were singing, but I heard "God is a good God, yes He is!" and that's what I sang with them. I need to get outta my seat and jump and dance with them though!
Hello. I am Jean Soto. from Venezuela. I want to know if that Guyanese Church is english-spaking. I am making a data-base of english-speaking congregation in Venezuela. I go to Maracay Community Church. This was english-speaking church, but now we have the joint english-speaking service.
Thank You Jean for your post. Yes, the Fuente de Agua Viva church is mainly English speaking Guyanese however, due to the powerful move of God they have experienced over the last 20 years there are many bilingual services and churches. This movement started back in 1992 when our team lived in Puerto Ordaz and worked with the Guyanese in Buen Retiro, San Felix area. The main leader is Vincent Guilarte a very humble yet powerful leader of many church plants that have been sown from his own. He has works along the Orinoco in Amacuro region. His phone number is 584 249-634030 he has an email and facebook that i can get you. There really should be a history written of this work. Maybe it's you that should write it. Shalom and Blessing to you, Jeff
OK. Thanks for the information. I hope I can have time to phone. I think I have heard of Buen Retiro in San Felix. Very dangerous area. I have been involved with Youth With A Mission, as well as I have a part time job teaching English at a christian school of languages. I will find the way so a group can be of help for them. I read as well, some guyanese have moved to Central-Northern Venezuela, region where I live. It could be interesting to follow the way to reach out them. God bless
Way cool,Jeff. Great having video. Another step. Looking forward to seeing you.
